The work starts before the first character: choose a folder, an understandable name and format. During editing, save meaningful versions, not just one nameless file. Search and replace accelerate the change if you first see the context of each match.

A backup copy is needed before, not after, an error. General access does not cancel the check for who is allowed to edit.

Editing without Loss of Meaning
Check change level
The error is corrected in the word. An unclear sentence is rewritten. If the idea of the section has changed, the title, the conclusion and the references to it are checked.
Don't confuse disposal and replacement.
Remove the fragment. Cut it, temporarily put it in the buffer. Replace it with finding a match and setting another one. Each operation has its own risk.

Introduction, recognition and language tools
OCR
The recognition turns the page image into a redacted text. After OCR, the numbers, formulas, transfers and similar characters are checked:

Voice input
Accelerates the draft, but requires silence, punctuation and informed consent: do not dictate personal information to the external service.
Verification and translation
Orphography, thesaurus and machine translation offer options, but the author checks the term, context, name and meaning of the final phrase.

In one paragraph, the training should open the issued file or shell, ask the exact phrase, take into account the form of the word and write the verified answer.
